5 april – Gouden Regel Dag
Golden Rule Day, April 5, 2020
Join us for our third year of Golden Rule Day Programming, beginning 10:00 pm, April 4, Pacific time. All transmission for the Golden Rule will be streamed through the Charter for Compassion’s Facebook page.
This global virtual celebration of the Golden Rule; a universal principle shared by nearly all cultural, spiritual, religious, and secular traditions on Earth is being brought to you by the Charter for Compassion, Golden Rule Project, United Religions Initiative, Grandmothers’ Global Healing, and Pragati Leadership Institute. They are contributing time, staff, and energy to host this event.
During Sunday April 5, people from all places in the world will address “Golden Rule in Action” and how people, organizations and governments can use this Common Principle to create a better world for everyone.
Why celebrate the Golden Rule?
The Golden Rule is ancient and modern, secular and religious, personal and common. Golden Rule Day is an opportunity for all of us to reflect on and celebrate the universal principle of treating others the way that we want to be treated. It is a powerful tool for all of our relationships – with ourselves, others, animals, and the planet. This will be a 24-hour online broadcast that will travel around the world to highlight those who are practicing the Golden Rule. The Golden Rule is powerful only when we practice it.
Tune in starting 10:00 am April 4 to 5 pm April 5 at the Charter for Compassion’s Facebook page.
